Great easy to use app
This app is easy to learn and using it is a very effective way to track time on projects as well as identifying where time is wasted. It is sometimes surprising how much time can be spent on a project, but how little of that time is spent doing useful work. I look forward to future enhancements to the software.

Exactly what I was looking for
As an artist I often have several multi-step projects going at once. I love this app because I can go back and fort between projects and create multiple tasks within a project to track various steps of production. I do wish there was a second timer (vs just hours:minutes) I start and stop the clock frequently so those seconds add up! Overall it's not a huge deal though. I definitely recommend this app!

Excellent project time tracker
As a freelance illustrator I find this app to be indispensable in keeping track of how many hours I spend on projects. I love the fact that I can keep track of separate projects at the same time and switch between them easily.

Very good stable app
I've been using this app for almost a year now. It's never crashed. It runs in the background. Doesn't use much battery. Does what it says it does and does it good. Over all excellent application a++.

One feature missing?
Great app for tracking total time spent on activities. The thing I want to know is what if I have to erase or reinstall my iPhone? Unless I restore ios from a backup all my tracking info is lost I think. I wish there was a way to backup to iCloud then restore if ever needed.

This app is very well designed and easy to use. Notable benefits include the ability to run multiple timers; start a new task with a simple stop & start; calendar integration; and export options (CSV & Excel). The reviews show very active developer involvement & support and the pricing is more than fair. Excellent work... Glad I found you!! Suggestions: 1.The ability to add a billing rate that accrues in tandem with the timer. A global rate may suffice, but some may want the ability to apply different rates per project. 2. A home or timer button for the "active projects" page. I have to continuously remind myself to select a project, then tap the timer button to get back "home". There is space at the bottom left of the "active projects" page that could possibly be used for this. 3.The ability to choose a different calendar to sync with instead of the home calendar restriction. 4. The ability to restart the clock for a previously stopped task. It is true that you can edit the time on a previous task, but when moving and pausing between multiple tasks, it may be easier to simply start/stop the previously created clocks as opposed to a new task being created each time a clock is stopped.Perhaps this could be a choice in settings? Again kudos for an excellently designed app!!

Outstanding - Just what I needed!
This app tracks the time you spend on activities associated with projects. You create the projects and then log the activities as you do them, or add them in after the fact. The interface is simple and easy to learn with built in Help. The clever interface makes it easy to quickly log activities as you start them, so you don't get behind in tracking your time. When you're done, you can export your project and activity data either through iTunes or via email, and as cvs or Excel. This is one great app!

Very nice, simple, quick app to manage your time
I used this to easily determine how long it took me to write Crystal Sliders (in app store), this was very insightful.. Told me how much time I spent on reusable code and how much on this game specific code (two projects)... Would be nice to have sub projects though.

Simple To Use
App simple to use but I personally would like to be able to accrue time on a chosen task in a project whereas once I've stopped a task I can't add more time to it.

Hi, David! You can edit start time and duration of the finished tasks. Just choose desired task in the project and tap on date or duration field in the edit form. More information in the built-in help in the "New task creation" topic.
Great simple app
This app does exactly what its name says. Easy to use. Keep track of how much time you spend on different tasks over time and make notes on what you do each time. I love it.

An efficient companion

I use it in my consulting business to track time. It works great. I think my billing time has increased 15% because I have accurate time actually spent on a job. Only complaint I have is that there is a limit to the numbers of projects you can track.

Easy to use
I was looking for something as simple as possible that requires the least number of clicks. I tried few free and commercial apps and ended up using this one. It fits my needs perfectly. I just wish I could export as CSV or excel.

Hi, Ginsek! You can export projects both to CSV-file and to Excel in the full version of the TaskTracker app. You can choose desired format in the preferences.
The one I tested that suits my needs! I use it for all my projects. Only one weekeness: stop the counter when reachs 24h, and some tasks needs more than this limit.

Keeps track of task times
Does a reasonable job of tracking and recording time spent on tasks. User of course has to make sure to start, pause and stop as necessary.

I have tried numerous time tracking and project tracking apps. This one is well designed and intuitive. Three things I would like to see in future versions. One, task entry auto correction. Two, button on project page to return to the main interface (current have to select a project and then click done). Three, a graph view of all the projects. I deducted a star due to number three. Definitely worth the money and thanks for the nice app!!

Hi, James! Thanks for your advices! I made some changes in the version 1.2.1 of the "Task Tracker". Auto correction has been added in editing task/project mode, as well as a new buttons in the projects list that allows you to go to the timer immediatly. But sorry, I don't understand what you mean by "graph view of all projects".
Easy to use - all I need...
A quite handy app, easy to use - but contain the essential functions. ready within a minute to capture the periods worked for projects. Just select the right project in the list or by scrolling left to right and click the start button. By using the small (i) symbol, the start time and duration can be adjusted and a name assigned to the current task. As well the task history is shown. From here you also can export the task information to an excel or csv file or attach to an email. With one click the project overview can be shown and projects added, chaged, removed or the task for all projects be exported. If you have a flexible software for invoicing - those files can be directly imported. Since last version completed tasks can also be shown in the calendar automatically - and will then be syncronized with outlook. I use it now since 2 month and are really happy with it.

I was looking for a quite simple app to collect my project times - and your application seems quite handy for that. Neverless I have some suggestions, maybe you are so kind to consider in any of the next versions:
- Some indicator in the Project list, which one is running. You see "2" of your projects are running, but to find them, you need to scroll - or I don't know how to use :)
- An csv export or csv attachment to a mail for ALL projects would be very helpful too - since there are maybe only work for 10 of 30 projects. But to check this I have to go thru all projects and decide which to export.
- Automatic end of one task when starting new one (maybe by setting).
Anyway - again thanks for the good job you made - makes my time capturing much easier.

Hi, Christian! I decide that some of your propositions are quite good and I have added these features in the version 1.2.0 of the "Task Tracker" utility. An indication of the current state of the project has been added to the projects list. Also I have added a possibility to export all projects at once (by the way, also into Excel format in addition to CSV). And the mode "One task at a time" has been added to the Settings, which does exactly what you need - stop previously running task in the other projects when you start a new one.
I believe this one has the potential to be perfect
After many hours searching, studying and trying the plethora of time tracking apps, I believe this one has the potential to be perfect. The interface is beautifully simple and does exactly what I want. The only reason I don't give it five stars is a lack of integration. The email is great, however if it were possible, upon task completion, to show the task as an event in the calender, this app would certainly get five stars. If it were possible to import tasks, I would pay far more for this app.

Thanks for the ideas, Terry! Integration with Calendar has been added in version 1.1.0 of the "Task Tracker" utility. You can switch on the calendar integration in the Settings and after that each finished or edited task will automaticaly add event to the default calendar. Also "export to CSV-file" feature has been added to the project actions. Exported file will be available through iTunes file sharing.
... but you cannot manually add a new task with a certain time or modify an existing one (e.g. forgot to hit the stop or start button). so you cannot really track your times :(

Possibility to edit start date of the task, duration of the task and ability to add early done tasks to project has been added in version 1.1.0 of "Task Tracker" utility.

If you have a need to track your billable time on projects, or just want to time how long it takes you to complete your latest work of art, this app makes it nice and easy to do. Being able to add time to specific tasks would be nice, but that is a minor gripe.
